Rabdi is Arkiv’s current public testnet. You can build and test your app against a live network.

Call rabdi from the SDK with your access key, and pass the chain to a client:

import { createPublicClient } from "@arkiv-network/sdk"
import { rabdi } from "@arkiv-network/sdk/chains"
import { http } from "viem"
const client = createPublicClient({
chain: rabdi({ accessKey: process.env.ARKIV_ACCESS_KEY ?? "" }),
transport: http(),
})

Arkiv’s public RPC is heavily rate limited to prevent abuse, so get a free access key from the Arkiv Hub. With accessKey: "", the chain uses the public RPC and logs a warning.

For reading, writing and browser wallets, see Connect to Arkiv.

Use of the public RPC is subject to the Arkiv Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

Arkiv uses GLM to pay for transactions. On Rabdi it’s test GLM, tGLM. Get some from the faucet.

If requests to the RPC fail, or you have another problem, ask in Discord. A team member is usually available.
